We do consistent, world class, quality work–every time, on every project. That is the E&L Construction Group’s philosophy. It permeates all that we do. We know if we employ our philosophy in every job, the awards will follow.
It is great to be recognized for good work. It makes our people feel good about their work, but it is also important for our owners. They expect a quality facility for their investment dollars, but to get an award winner is even better.
Although we think every project we do is an award winning project, the following is a list of some of our projects that have received formal state and national recognition.
We received two awards for the Ice Mountain Hockey Complex that we constructed in Burton, MI. This project had several site challenges, a tight budget, and an even tighter schedule. Leagues had been formed and starting dates established prior to completion of the design. This put pressure on the E&L Construction Group to deliver. The facility includes two ice arenas, locker rooms, food concessions, retail sales areas, offices, and conference rooms.
It was awarded the following:

The MRI of Grand Blanc is one of the most beautiful buildings in southeastern Michigan. It was our second project to receive national accolades. This project was technically demanding due to the installation of a General Electric diagnostic magnet. This called for special construction methods as no ferrous metal is allowed in the magnet room.
The facility included a beautiful lobby with an open curtain-wall, waiting rooms, conference room, kitchen, computer room, diagnostic reading room, and command control room. This facility was featured in Time Magazine and Sports Illustrated Magazine.
